This is a garden in my town. Her house is an adorable little cottage. I have been watching this woman do her gardening for years. Every summer I drive by her house several times to see what is new. It is truly awesome. She has arranged things, where nothing new has to be planted every year. The perennials just come back up year after year. And notice how she has the height worked out so beautifully. Tallest at the back next to the fence, and then the flowers work their way downward. I could get lost in her secret garden. I don't know her, but she has provided me with many joyful moments as I drive by - ever so slowly - to drool over her garden. Trust me - mine looks nothing like that. Maybe one day mine will evolve to something I can actually photograph and share with you. How does your garden grow???

Beautiful picture. I would like to see the garden. I wanted to tell you that the book, The Tale of the Tardy Oxcart is a collection of stories and ancedotes Chuck put together from his reading--1,502 in fact. I have most of his books which mostly are the sermons he has preached and he has at least one other collection of short things on different subjects.
Hi Debbie,
I deleted your name on Spiritual Sundays because the link led to my Dashboard instead of to your blog. You can try entering it again and put the URL of your post in the space under your name. I'm sorry for the confusion.
Dear Debbie,
thank you so much for visiting my blog! i always love it when I "meet" women my own age in the blogosphere.
I especially love Grandma Ruby's dishes. I can easily see why they are so special to you!
Love,
Kate.
Oh, what pretty flowers!! I wish I could grow a garden like that.
