I have this little display on my kitchen counter. It wouldn't mean much to anyone, but to me it is a treasure. I almost get teary eyed when I think of my grandma Ruby. These were always on display on a shelf in her home. My earliest memories, as a little girl of 3 or 4, involved visiting her, and gazing at these "pretties" on her shelves. I was in awe of their beauty. I guess these things sort of set the tone for my love of pretty vintage cottage items for my own home. Anyway, grandma passed away 10 years ago, and imagine my joy when my sister got a few of these dishes, and decided to share 3 of them with me. They have cracks & chips, but that doesn't matter to me. It's the memories that are so cherished. I cannot look at these dishes without thinking of her and how truly sweet she was. So many many happy memories. (And I have to admit to you that I never even noticed the back until this morning when I grabbed my camera to photo - they are American Lomeges 22K Gold.) Do you have something from your grandparents you cherish. Share it with me!

Those are beautiful! I have never seen any like those before.
I actually made a post about an item that reminds me of my grandmother today!
They are very pretty dishes and what keepsakes they are.
I read your request over at Nester's and came by to see if she'd responded. Since she hasn't been here yet, I'll answer your question. If you want to link something just highlight the name and then click on that little icon that looks kinda like a world with sunglasses. A box will pop up for you to type in the address you want to link to. Do that and your done!
Have fun blogging!
Very, very pretty. I posted things today for S & T that were my Grandparents. I love family pieces.
What precious memories of your Grandma to still have!
Good Morning Debbie :),
Wow, beautiful dishes from your Grandmother Ruby. I'm sure you cherish them every day, how wonderful you have them.
Have a Fantastic Friday,
Kathi :)
The dishes are wonderful, but it is the memories behind them that make them so super special.
I too posted an item that was passed down to me, and it was once owned by my grandmother. These things are so special!
They're absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Goodness those are beautiful! How blessed we are to have treasures from grandmother's.

Your Grandma Ruby's dishes are beautiful. I have my Granny's dishes. They came from Top Value Stamps. Her sisters would help her collect what she needed and then when they needed something she'd help them. I just love family treasures.
Beautiful post!

Hi Debbie,
I clicked on your name on Spiritual Sundays and it took me to my dashboard. To sign up on Mr. Linky you need to go ahead and publish your Spiritual Sundays post on your blog and then click on the time at the bottom of your post. That will take you to that particular post. Your other posts will not show there. Then look up at the top at the http:// thingy and copy the entire thing that is listed there and then come back to Mr. Linky and put your name there again and put that address in the url box and then hit enter.
I will go ahead and delete your name that is there now.
I know this is kind of confusing since you just started blogging. If you still don't understand it, let me know. I am not the best at explaining things but I will try again.
Hugs,
Charlotte
Hi. It's me again. I just looked at your Show & Tell post. You did it right there. Don't know what happened with the Spiritual Sundays blog but it looks like you know how to do it. I hope you will try again.
Hugs,
Charlotte
